A message from the Pleasant Hill School District Athletic Department:
Due to safety concerns for our students, we are requiring all students that are middle school age and below to have a parent or guardian with them at all sporting events. If a student is dropped off without a parent or guardian, he/she will not be admitted to the event and a parent will be called for pick-up. All children in attendance should be either sitting or standing next to their parents or guardians during the event, and not running around or throwing balls. We appreciate your cooperation in this matter.
Thank you.
Online calendars are available for each school. Please visit their webpage for detailed dates, times and locations.

Attention senior athletes: A scholarship for high school seniors, they must be involved in football, volleyball, girls’ basketball, and/or boys’ basketball. It is sponsored by the Greater Kansas City Officials Association. http://www.gkcoa.org/Association-News/Scholarship-for-HS-Seniors/
MIAAA/NIAAA Scholarship - deadline coming February 29, 2012.
The MIAAA, in conjunction with the NIAAA, will offer two $1000 scholarships and two $500 runner-up scholarships for Missouri male and female student-athletes. For our student winners to qualify for the NIAAA Section V and National Scholarship, their Athletic Director must be a member of the MIAAA and NIAAA. We will use the NIAAA criteria when selecting the MIAAA winners. If you are not a member of the NIAAA, please consider joining. Membership information can be found at the following link: http://www.niaaa.org/About_NIAAA/niaaa_about.asp
The scholarship applications will be available on the NIAAA website (niaaa.org) and are due at the end of February to Missouri’s NIAAA Liaison. The application on the website is form-fill so applicants can type right on the website and save an electronic copy for themselves and print from the form. Please read all the NIAAA requirements and obtain an application at the following link: http://www.niaaa.org/Scholarship_Program/About_the_Program.asp
Completed applications with a letter of recommendation from the A.D. should be mailed or e-mailed to: Josh Scott Waynesville High School, 200 GW Lane, Waynesville MO 65583. This is a tremendous opportunity for a young man and young woman to receive a nice $1000.00 scholarship from MIAAA. If they are the state winner, they go on to be eligible for more scholarship money through the NIAAA national program. Please take some time to consider this opportunity for your outstanding senior student-athletes.
