Football Ambassadors
Juniors and seniors with a study hall have the opportunity to spend one day a week at the Primary School. It has become a voluntary mentoring project in which student athletes interact with a kindergarten, first or second grade class by a variety of activities. This program has provided many memorable and valuable experiences for everone involved.



 
1st Downs for Down Syndrome
 For the 6th year now, our team will make a generous donation to this charity that was started by the Kansas City Chiefs and now has high schools involved. Funds are used to assist children with Down's Syndrome and their families in the Kansas City area.

Community Service
This will be our fourth year participating in the Optimist Club's community betterment project called "We Give". Our team meets and spends a few hours satisfying a community need. Sampling of past projects include beautifying a park, cleaning trash and painting the gazebo on the square, and painting bleachers and concession stands.





 


Head Coach
Kyle Roach - Head coach, offensive coordinator, wide receivers. Enters 25th year as a head coach, 13 at Pleasant Hill. Also served as head coach at Wellington-Napoleon and Mtn. Grove. Northwest Missouri Grad. Kyle is married to Kathy and has three sons Nathan, Aaron and Trenten. Teaches High School PE.

Assistant Coaches
Tom Gasper - Defensive coordinator, Defensive line. Begins 12th year at Pleasant Hill. Central Missouri Grad. Also coaches jr. high wrestling. Tom is married to Rebekah and has two sons, Jackson and Elias. Teachers Jr. High Social Studies.

Larry Bunn - RB, special teams. Enters 45th year of coaching, 6th at Pleasant Hill. Previously, one year at Raytown, one year at William Jewell and 13 years at East Newton as their head coach. Stints in Arkansas and Oklahoma previous to that. Missouri Southern Grad. Larry is married to Dian and has one daughter.

Matt Klein - Pass Defense coordinator, special teams coordinator, JV offensive coordinator, line backers. He begins his 5th year of coaching at Pleasant Hill, previously at Versailles. Missouri Valley Grad. Teaches High School Health and PE. He is also an assistant girls basketball coach. He is married to Adrienne.

Wes Thompson - JV Defensive coordinator, offensive line. Enters 3rd year at Pleasant Hill, 2 years as assistant at Kansas Weslyan previously. Kansas Weslyan Grad. Teaches High School Science and he is also a Girls Basketball Assistant Coach.

Josh Adamczyk - Freshman offensive coordinator, quarterbacks. Begins 4th coaching football in Pleasant Hill (7th year teaching). Previously at Kingsville. Assistant golf coach. Central Missouri Grad. He teaches at the Intermediate School. Josh is married to Dawn and has one daughter, Brooklyn.

Jeff Wyatt - Freshman defensive coordinator, defensive backs. 2nd year at Pleasant Hill. Most recently coached at Jefferson City. Has coached football 7 years and wrestling 14 years also in Iowa and Minnesota. Head wrestling coach. Buena Vista, IA Grad. Teaches High School Science. He is married to Andrea, has two sons Christian and Blake, and two daughters Reagan and Kennedy.
