Once registered, participants can complete their GED Classroom training on any internet connected computer. Computer time is also available at our offices or any Cass County Library.

  1. Schedule T.A.B.E. Testing with Karen Rawlins at 380-6690 or 318-3922. This testing determines which areas, if any, the participant needs to improve on before taking the actual GED exam.
  2. Complete T.A.B.E. testing and GED class registration online. Pre-testing can take up to 50 minutes, with the T.A.B.E. testing taking up to 2 ½ hours for all areas. This testing can be done over several sessions.
  3. Once T.A.B.E. test results are registered, a GED instructor will contact participant via email. If you are not contacted within 2 weeks, let Karen know and she will contact the program administrator. You will then work on your own pace through the classes that are recommended by the instructor.
  4. Retest using the T.A.B.E. test with Karen after classes are complete. Once new test scores are registered, you will be given a certificate to take to the testing site. Longview College is the nearest test site. A practice GED test is available to take at West Central or online at the Cass County Library website: <www.casscolibrary.org>.
