Message from the Superintendent

Welcome to the 2019-20 school year.
We had plenty of things going on this summer with a last minute push to get things completed before the start of the school year. We have our new addition at the high school trying to get done before the first day of school and more updates will be coming on that in the coming weeks. We have set the dates for centralized enrollment at the high school for July 31st and August 1st.  Our staff will return for convocation on August 12th with the first day of school being on Thursday, August 15th. We look forward to everyone getting registered and ready for a great school year.

Many of our 2018 Bond projects will be completed by September with the new weight room and auxiliary gym ready to open at that time. We are really excited about the improvements that have occurred over the last two summers with our Skyline Field receiving the most recent improvements. We will be starting our second year with reporting student data from Fastbridge and Illuminate and our first full year of students working with Eureka Math and Units of Study (Workshop Model). The staff and administration are excited about some of the preliminary growth students have shown during the past spring.  Also, you will be seeing a different grade card in the K-6 area for ELA and Math, as we are developing a Standards Based Grading System versus students receiving a letter grade. We look forward to everyone having a great school year.
